What’s Nerd Nite you ask? It’s pretty simple. It’s a little like college if you merged the parties with your favorite classes. Every month, two new Nerd Nite presenters get up in front of you and each give a 20-minute Power-Point style presentation about something, ANYTHING, that they are really knowledgeable about and really passionate about. Like what? Implantable silk drug delivery devices. Gravestone art. The Mumblecore film movement. Bending metal with your bare hands. Those are just a few real topics from past Nerd Nites. Before, in between, and after, you get to schmooze, drink beer, and listen to tunes, because it all happens in a bar. So Nerd Nite is actually really social. It might even be–*shhhhhh*–cool.
